Traffic Sales Assistant

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the sales department.
  • Liaison with the traffic department.
  • Maintain data entry of commercial traffic materials.
  • Coordinate the receipt of local commercial materials.
  • Submit last-minute orders/revisions and log changes.
  • Distribute the final daily log within the sales department.
  • Coordinate with other departments on special projects, as well as commercial/promotion airtime placement.
  • Function as the station gatekeeper for traffic and inventory matters to master control and the traffic department.
  • During political election years, provide additional manpower in managing the airing of political ad campaigns.

Experience Level

  • A college degree is not required but a high school diploma is helpful.
  • A demonstrated ability in various software programming and the capability to easily learn new computer skills.
  • Previous commercial TV experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Function well in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and organized.
