Local Sales Manager

A local sales manager supervises a sales staff comprised of account executives tasked with servicing the local market.


    • Oversight of new local business efforts, including accountability for revenue goals and inventory management.
    • Communicates sales goals to the team and monitors and encourages progress.
    • Constantly seeks to build the stable of sales account executives.
    • Helps forecast departmental revenue on both a quarterly and annual basis.
    • Develops strong client relationships at the local level.
    • Holds frequent in-person meetings with clients, as well as client entertainment.

    Experience Level

    • Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience, with an outstanding record in media sales, preferably at the local level.
