Executive Producer

This position can also be known as Senior Producer or Producer.

Duties

• Plans content and the overarching goal of the program or show segment, coordinates with the talent, writes, edits, books guests and oversees the technical and financial aspects of the program.
• Serves as the program's director and is responsible for show content and format and assigns talent to show segments.
• Promotes the shows and oversees social media content.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about industry software.
• Strong writing, editing and production skills.
• Works well under deadline.

Experience level

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least five years of experience in broadcast, podcast and/or live news production experience.
