Digital Sales Manager
Duties
- Execute revenue-producing strategies that resonate with advertisers' goals and tie their marketing to a station's multimedia digital properties.
- Manage, coach, train, support and motivate the team and the junior sales staff.
- Client prospecting and negotiating and closing deals.
- Oversight of all digital and streaming sales products, inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Works cohesively with the sales management team on revenue development strategies, profit and loss expense management, training and digital and linear revenue production.
- Partners with news and creative services to support the overall growth of a station's digital audiences, driving local revenue growth and share in the market.
- Work with third-party vendors to support digital initiatives, including ad operations, creative, marketing services, analytics partners, contesting and email programs, lead generation and more.
- Consistently out in the field making in-person sales calls.
Experience Level
- Most have five or more years of experience in sales, promotions and/or marketing.
- A track record in digital advertising and sales management is preferred.
- A bachelor's degrees in marketing, business or a related field.
