General Sales Manager
Duties
- Manages the daily operations of the local sales team.
- Oversees the sales and marketing budgets and sets performance goals.
- Develops both short- and long-term sales strategies.
- Engages with the local business community to foster networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Able to perform research and analyze data to monitor trends.
Experience Level
- A bachelor's degree.
- At least six years of sales experience.
- At least five years of experience in sales management, preferably in the broadcast industry.
It's more likely that a larger station would have this managerial position while a smaller station might have a local sales manager running the sales department.
