Audio Engineer

Duties

• Ensures audiences hear the sound accompanying the visuals and relies on a sophisticated array of equipment to accomplish set goals.
• Understands signal processing, sound mixing and how to adjust levels for optimum sound quality, and also ensures microphones and other audio equipment are in good working order.

Qualifications

• Proficient with sound equipment, audio processing and broadcast-related equipment, as well as the accompanying software.

Experience Level

• Technical degree in broadcasting, digital electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
