Duties

  • Oversees the graphics area and has specific knowledge of what works for TV and what doesn’t.
  • Work with news to give more visual impact to the news product by using graphics or other special effects such as animation and deal with outside vendors on such projects as set design, signage and station image branding materials including print ads and collateral.
  • Supervises digital/graphic designers working for the station.

Experience level

  • A bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communications, graphic design or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience working at a college TV station and gaining real world experience.
  • An established online portfolio is a plus.
