Facilities Manager

Duties

• Provides hands-on management of a station's physical location.
• Maintains interior building spaces as well as exterior grounds and outbuildings, directly interacting with staff assigned to clean up, repairs, landscaping and general maintenance.
• Works with vendors and suppliers to get repair and maintenance jobs done on time and within budget parameters.
• Schedules safety inspections, ensures staff are well versed on safety and hygiene protocols and keeps detailed records for compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Well-versed on current laws, regulations and building codes.
• Knowledgeable about how the major infrastructure systems work, including the HVAC and emergency power generation systems.

Experience Level

• A bachelor's degree in a related engineering field is preferred, along with five-plus years in facility maintenance. Certification in related fields is a plus.
