Senior Application Security Engineer

Duties

• Assesses current security measures, identifies any breaches or system weaknesses and provides solutions for data security.
• Works with other engineers and application service teams to implement application security standards and guidelines.
• Educates developers about security best practices and helps develop source codes.
• Makes recommendations about any new technologies to acquire.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about emerging security technologies and products.

Experience Level

• A bachelor's degree or seven years of developer experience, with a minimum of five years in software development and a minimum of three years in application security.
• Certification in Security, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or the equivalent are a plus.
