Duties

• Reports to the executive producer and serves as an editorial leader, helping staff to hone skills and develop keen news instincts.
• Plans stories and live events that drive audience engagement, both with the linear and digital products.
• Ensures that the news product meets high journalistic standards and is constantly seeking ways to report the news first to its audience.
• Navigates the social media realm, great with SEO, digital analytics and web-based sourcing for news.

Qualifications

• Able to work well and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Level

• A bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communication or related field.
• Excellent writer with experience in a news management position and an extensive background in producing.
