Sports Producer

Duties

• Works with a sports anchor or show host to produce the sports segments, research the latest sports stats and team updates, write copy, book sports-related guests and manage the content.
• Reports breaking sports news and updates on air, as necessary.
• Creates and contributes social media content.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about business-related software, as well as audio editing and production.
• Knowledgeable about social media platforms.

Experience level

• A high school diploma is required, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Prior production experience at a broadcast station, preferably with sports.
