Podcast Producer

Duties

• Supervises the podcast’s production process.
• Supports the podcast host and team.
• Manages the podcast production schedule and development.
• Records and produces all podcast episodes.
• Promotes the show and develops marketing strategies with others on the production team.
• Manages each episode’s editing, recording and distribution.
• Oversees the podcast production budget.
• Prepares questions for interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in podcast marketing, with previous experience in successfully promoting and growing podcasts.
• Knowledge and understanding of the podcast industry, including current trends, key players, and audience demographics.
• Excels at storytelling, effectively engaging listeners to establish a loyal and dedicated following.

Experience Level

• Four-year college degree in mass communications, journalism, broadcasting or related field.
• Previous experience in a radio station as an intern.
