Sports Multimedia Journalist

Duties

• Concentrates on developing content for a station's online and digital platforms.Depending on the station and union contracts, a sports multimedia journalist may have limited airtime or conditions for airtime.
• Reports in the field and writes, shoots and edits on the fly, without the help of a photographer or video editor.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently to produce content.

Experience Level

• A bachelor's degree in mass communications or a related field.
• Prior on-air reporting experience working at a college TV station or print reporting experience is a plus.
• A video demo reel is a plus.
