Research Director – Sales and Marketing

Duties
- Assists a station's sales and marketing department in maximizing station revenue opportunities by employing the power of analytics. This position requires an understanding of how to use research to build a logical and compelling sales story that's woven into sales pieces.
- Effectively outline a station's competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Prepares performance reports for sales managers within deadlines, gathering campaign data for proof of performance presentations to station clients.
- Apply knowledge of media campaigns through both linear and digital platforms, communicating with corporate digital ad operations as well to maintain overall campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Comfortable presenting alongside a team of account executives and management at key client meetings.
Experience Level
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English or statistics.
- Minimum of two to three years of media research experience.
- Knowledge of media-related software and adept at preparing sales materials.
- Familiar with analytical tools such as ones provided by Nielsen, Scarborough, etc.
